James Roy Robertson entered into eternal rest on February 24,2021 he was 62. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Frederick and Ella D. (Rollins) Robertson.
He leaves 1 daughter Decima and her husband Antonio Garrison, 3 Sisters, Valerie J Robertson, Roslyn Robertson, Stacia Agyemang and 1 brother William Robertson. 3 grandchildren Serenity, James and Gabriella and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Frederick and William Edward Robertson.
He was currently employed by Acushnet Company and previously by RI Novelty for over 15 years, a longtime member of Solid Rock Church where he was President of the Men’s Department. He enjoyed taking long drives and good food, often showcasing his cooking skills via Facebook. Roy loved his family and spending time with them, often commented how we needed to draw/keep closer at all times. He was a Strong, Proud Member of a 12 Step Fellowship called NA where he was dedicated to telling his story and helping others in recovery when and however he could.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, March 4th from 9:00 – 11:00am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial is private.
